It is so interesting how flares from the sun can actually effect things on earth. It would be strange to be watching TV from a satellite and have the satellite picture go fuzzy because of activities on the sun, as it is so far away. It is also crazy that the temperature of the "glowing gas" is over ten million degrees Celsius.
